One of our many passions for this beautiful country we call South Africa, is the unspoilt
and as yet relatively undiscovered gem of Cape Town, viz., its West Coast! Our favourite touring
route, for its absolute uniqueness and unspoilt beauty and sense of desolation, has to be
the Cape to Namibia route. This is Big Sky country with wide open spaces and a certain raw-ness
about it which feeds your soul!

Transport is in air-conditioned VW Caravelle (8 seater) with 4x4 capability. As a guide-line
any prices quoted per person for Day tours and Flower tours, will be based on minimum 6 pax.
For fewer than 4 pax, prices will be adjusted accordingly.
West Coast Accommodation
Escape to the tranquillity of the West Coast, with its abundant bird life, magnificent springtime
flower displays, beautiful beaches and the meandering Berg River. Enjoy the magic of bird-watching,
hiking, biking, canoeing, fishing, boating and much more! Port Owen (birders paradise) is
a marina development in the quaint West Coast fishing village of Velddrif. Just 90 minutes
away from Cape Town, it is situated on the banks of the Berg River, just a short distance
from where the river runs into the sea at Laaiplek.
We offer 4 star accommodation at our B&B in Port Owen. Self-catering is also an option,
minimum 2 nights or 2 rooms to be taken. House-boat accommodation is also available.
Karoo Farm-stays (Part of our Karoo tours)
Sutherland (star-gazing Mecca of South Africa): Come and experience the beauty and tranquillity
of the Karoo and enjoy the wonderful hospitality of Adriaan and Michelle Holhoed, on their
working sheep farms, just 50 kilometres north of Sutherland, on the Calvinia Road. Accommodation
is in a typical old farm-house with additional rustic accommodation available on the farms.
